I almost died because of my drinking. I lost my family because of my drinking. Everything that I valued and loved was almost lost because of my drinking. I stopped drinking.

I have heard this hundreds of times from all kinds of people. I hate writing. However, I enjoy the finished product of writing. I enjoy the responses from people that my writing brings out. About ten years ago, I started daily “Drinking Stories” on Facebook from July 1 through July 15 on my sobriety date. Every year, I would write new stories. I enjoy reminiscing about my drinking days. They were fun- a lot of fun. I cannot deny that. unfortunately, all of that fun caught up with me. It all backfired on me.
I am ashamed of the things that I did when I was drunk, but the shame does not make stories less entertaining.
This book will cover my days as a drinker, – funny stories about my drinking, not-so-funny stories about my drinking, as well as my road to sobriety. I believe I have a winning formula to stop drinking, and I hope to teach it to at least one other person. My goal is to help one person with their drinking problem and I will be extremely happy if I succeed.
